Department of Public Utilities Remedies Billing Glitch

A portion of the Department of Public Utilities bill statements generated on March 11, 2016 were not printed and mailed out normally. The Department of Public Utilities is reprinting and re-mailing all bills printed that day. The Utility will refund all late fees charged to anyone in that cycle to make sure that no one is missed. Customers who already paid a late fee for this bill will receive a credit on their next statement.

Customers who did not receive their statement and paid their utility bill online may contact a Customer Service Representative at 419-245-1800 for a service fee adjustment. 

The Department of Public Utilities seeks continuous improvement. New procedures have been put in place to ensure this issue is resolved. The Department of Public Utilities apologizes for any inconvenience to its customers.
