City of Toledo Department of Neighborhoods announces the availability of approximately $2,000,000 of HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds to support the acquisition, new construction, or rehabilitation of affordable rental and for-sale housing.

Program Overview

Funds will be awarded to projects that demonstrate a gap in financing, address the COT’s affordable and special populations housing needs, and leverage HOME funds with other funding sources. The maximum per project award will be $500,000 for construction or rehabilitation of rental units; $350,000 for construction or rehabilitation of homebuyer units and $300,000 for owner-occupied rehabilitation.

Funding Priorities

  • Owner occupied housing rehabilitation by a not for profit entity.
  • New construction or rehabilitation of rental or for sale housing projects serving households at or below 30% AMI.
  • New construction or rehabilitation of rental or for sale housing projects serving seniors or the disabled.
  • New construction or rehabilitation of permanent supportive rental housing.
