Weeklong Cleanup in East Toledo Begins Monday
The City of Toledo will clean streets, repair potholes, collect debris from public properties and alley ways, remove park graffiti, and paint fire hydrants from July 25 to July 30 in a targeted area in District 3 bounded by Oak to White and Navarre to Star. The City worked with One Voice for East Toledo to set the priority area.
Beautification Teams from the Department of Neighborhoods will work from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm each day and invite community members to join them on in this project from 9 am to noon Wednesday through Friday and from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday. Interested volunteers can join a team by meeting at 925 Woodville in the back of the parking lot of Walgreen’s off Navarre and Forsythe. (See attachment)
Two additional cleanups are scheduled at this time:
- August 15 – 20: District 1 bounded by Albion to Upton and Bancroft to Monroe
- September 19 – 24: District 3 bounded by S. Hawley to Maumee and South to Lotus
