Toledo Youth Commission and Partners Host Job Fair Saturday
Toledo Youth ages 16 to 24 are encouraged to dress for success and come to the Youth Job Fair on Saturday, April 30 from 10 am to 2 pm at the SeaGate Center in downtown Toledo. More than 50 companies will be present taking applications and conducting on site interviews for summer jobs.
City and county employees and Youth Commission Advisory Board members will be on hand to assist participants through the process of filling out applications, writing resumes and building interview confidence. Kiosks provided by Owens Community College will allow youth to apply for positions online. The Toledo-Lucas County Library Access Bus will be staffed to help youth write resumes. Information packets for youth will include: Minor Labor Laws, curfew information, and an Ohio Means Jobs “Passport” to track work history.
Youth may register on the day of the event; there is no admission charge.
The Job Fair is sponsored in partnership with Lucas County, the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library.
