Reminder: Red Light Amnesty Program
The City of Toledo would like to remind citizens that the red light amnesty program that will allow persons with unpaid violations to resolve the violation at a reduced amount will be ending on June 7th, 2015. Under the Amnesty Program if a violator pays two-thirds (2/3) of the delinquent amount, the remaining balance will be forgiven.
After the amnesty period is completed, the City will begin to file lawsuits to collect unpaid violations. No further amnesty periods are anticipated.
Collections from the Amnesty program will be handled by the Law Offices of Scheer, Green, and Burke, CO. L.P.A. The program will be available to any person with one or more delinquent violations provided that person has not already been named in a collection lawsuit.
Failure to pay your delinquent tickets before the June 7th, 2015 deadline will result in the full amount of the delinquent tickets.
If you have any questions about the amnesty program, or the amount you owe, call the Law Offices of Scheer, Green, and Burke, CO. L.P.A. at 419-243-2283.
