Once you have received notice that it's time to schedule, call or use the form below to schedule your appointment. You will need the work order number from your postcard to schedule.
Mandatory Meter Replacement
All City of Toledo water customers are required to provide access to their water meter for this mandatory water meter service. Things to know about your appointment:
- Appointments will take 60 minutes.
- An adult (18 or older) must be home.
- Water will be shut off during installation.
- Clear path to the meter must be accessible.
- All pets must be secured.

Transfer of Meter Ownership
Before your replacement can begin, we will work with each customer who has a meter that is larger than 1.5” to obtain ownership of the existing meter and replace or upgrade the meter at no cost.
Property Owner’s Consent and Release Agreement
If you have already responded to our request, thank you. If you have not received the letter or have additional questions, please contact the department at 419-245-1213.
Letter to Large Meter Customers
Affected customers should have received a letter in the mail with an enclosed property owner's consent and release agreement. Please sign the form and return to us as soon as possible. The signed agreement can be emailed to amimeterproject@toledo.oh.gov or mailed to:
