Funding Overview

The City of Toledo is launching the 2026–2027 Youth Services Grant Program to support high-quality youth programming that strengthens educational outcomes, workforce readiness, health, and overall community well-being.

Aligned with the City’s priority to support young people and families through engaging summer and school-year experiences, this program focuses on building skills, stability, and long-term opportunity for Toledo youth.

All applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, for grant consideration.

For the 2026–2027 grant cycle, most programs will be awarded as reimbursement grants.

We encourage the use of city parks for your program! We have a variety of different recreation and rental facilities available for use, pending approval.

Basic Grant Information

Funding Requirements

Not all items may be eligible for grant funding when submitting a proposed budget. Detailed monthly reporting is mandatory, and all purchased items, payroll, and allocated dollars will require receipts to support expenditures. If there is a question regarding correct documentation, contact youthservices@toledo.oh.gov.

If your program is chosen for funding, you will be required to:

• Register as a vendor with the City of Toledo
• Provide proof of commercial general liability insurance of $1,000,000, with the City of Toledo named as an additional insured.
• If transporting youth as part of the funded program, provide proof of comprehensive automotive liability insurance, with the City of Toledo named as an additional insured. Funding awards under $40,000 will require $500,000 of coverage. Funding awards $40,000 or above will require $1,000,000.

If these requirements will create an increase in the expense of your insurance coverage, this expense can be listed in your budget request.

Please Note: Funding will be available pending the completion of all required documentation from the funded organization.
