Leaf collection kicks off on Monday, November 3, 2025.
Every fall, leaf collection is performed to help prevent leaves from clogging the sewer system, create safer walking, biking, and driving conditions, and maintain a clean and healthy city.
The program is scheduled to take place for 6 weeks to collect a majority of the leaves before the first snowfall.
Updates to the schedule will be released on Fridays, ensuring residents know when to expect crews and allow time to prepare.

How to Prepare
Rake leaves to the curb
Pile leaves along the curb line of your residential street no more than 2 days prior to your scheduled leaf pickup date.
Clear both sides of the street
Keep storm inlets clear of leaves to prevent flooding and clogging of sewers.
Move your car
Please don't park on the street when leaf pickup is scheduled in your area.
How to Dispose of Leaves
If you miss collection, do not place leaves in the street. At that point, the options for residents are to:
- Compost or mulch the leaves.
- Dispose of leaves in your gray trash container.
- Take them to a leaf drop-off site November 3, 2025, through January 9, 2026.
