Delays for Friday, July 19

Due to disruptions caused by CrowdStrike issues, some Republic Service routes and online capabilities will be impacted. We’re actively working to restore all services and appreciate your patience.

A Cleaner Toledo

We've partnered with Republic Services to facilitate much of the trash and recycling services for our residents. For questions and concerns about trash, recycling, or bulk pickup, please call Republic Services at 419-936-2511.

Find your trash pickup schedule

Trash Collection

Garbage collection is handled by Republic Services and is collected weekly. All trash should be bagged and placed inside your gray refuse container which can be set out on the curb the night before your scheduled pickup and should be promptly put away once collection is complete.

Trash Assistance Program

Toledo residents who need help getting their recycling and trash containers to the curb should call Republic Services to request an application.

Recycling is also picked up by Republic Services and is collected every other week. Only certain types of materials may be placed inside your blue recycling container and all items should be clean and free of food remnants before placing in the bin.

Bulk Pickup

Republic Services offers residents one free bulk pickup per month. Please call to schedule the pickup before placing large items at the curb. Items will be collected one business day following your regular waste collection (example: waste collection day is Wednesday = bulk day is Thursday).

All loose waste must be bagged. Wood/branches must be bundled and tied no larger than 3’ by 4’ and not heavier than 40 pounds per bundle; nails/screws must be pounded down or removed. Bulk items must be placed at curb in front of home. No alley pickup and no side street pickup.

Call 419-936-2511 to schedule.
