Clean Toledo Recycling Events
View All EventsHelp us keep your neighborhood clean with free drop-off events throughout the summer.
Acceptable Items
- 10 tires on or off the rim, no commercial tires, $.50 each
- Bulky items and refuse including air conditioning units refrigerators/freezers, and large appliances.
- Cardboard, phone books, and newspapers
- Clothing and household goods
- Document shredding and recycling
- Electronic waste including TVs and CRT monitors
- Household hazardous waste
- Paint and stains including oil-based paints, stains, and latex paint.
- Packing styrofoam no plates, cups, or other food grade containers.
- Residential yard waste including sticks and branches, leaves and grass clippings
- Scrap metal
- Medical equipment only accepted on April 20th, August 24th, and October 5th.

New! To help combat blight, Urban Beautification will canvass neighborhoods to collect bulky trash from residents’ curbs for free.

Residents can schedule one free bulk pickup each month. Schedule before placing your items at the curb and be sure to follow the guidelines for a proper set out.
