ADA Accommodation Procedure
Request is Received
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will review the request as described and ensure that all reasonable accommodations are provided. Though the ADA does not require the city to take any action that would fundamentally alter the nature of its programs or services, or impose an undue financial or administrative burden, the city strives to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy all of its programs, services, and activities.
If you provided your name and contact information with the complaint, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will follow up with you to let you know the outcome of the request.
If you are unhappy with a public accommodation request determination, you can file an appeal with the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Public Accommodation Appeal
You can file an appeal against the City for not providing access to meetings, services, programs, or activities according to the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will work toward a quick resolution.Public Accommodation Grievance
