"One Pill Can Kill. One Voice Can Save a Life." is a powerful youth-focused program series designed to raise awareness about the dangers of illicit drugs and the ongoing drug crisis.
The program hosts a series of fun and educational events in partnership with the City of Toledo Parks and Youth Services, the Youth Services Youth Advisory Board, the Department of Drug Enforcement Agency Operation Engage, and the DEA Educational Foundation.
June 6: Youth Summit Focus Group with Basketball Clinic
As part of the “One Pill Can Kill. One Voice Can Save a Life.” initiative, this free one-day event invites teens to explore the dangers of drug abuse and misuse through engaging, hands-on learning. Participants will work together to create their own Public Service Announcements (PSAs)—short, powerful messages aimed at encouraging their peers to make drug-free choices. The day also includes a basketball clinic that promotes teamwork, healthy habits, and positive lifestyle choices.
July 18: Healthy Lifestyle with Basketball and Martial Arts
As part of the “One Pill Can Kill. One Voice Can Save a Life.” initiative, this one day free event, participants will learn about the dangers of drug abuse and misuse while engaging in basketball and martial arts practice. We will also discuss the importance of making positive choices and leading a healthy lifestyle.

August 14: Kickball Tournament - Back to School Community Movie Night
As part of the “One Pill Can Kill. One Voice Can Save a Life.” initiative, this one day free event participants will learn the importance of making positive choices and leading a healthy lifestyle while engaged in kickball. Afterwards, enjoy our Community Movie Night, bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a movie under the stars. Movie begin at dusk.
