Theresa Gadus

Council Member, District 3

Hello, I am Council Member Theresa Gadus. I am a fourth-generation Toledoan and this is my first term serving on City Council. Before becoming elected to City Council, I worked at Toledo Public Schools as an Educational Interpreter for the Deaf, at my high school alma mater Morrison R. Waite. As a proud Toledo Rocket, I graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science in 2007. I have been active in the schools and the community as a Chair for One Voice for East Toledo, president of the Stonewall Democrats of Northwest Ohio, I have worked on the T-town Dash Committee for Epic Toledo, and I am the GSA Liaison/Professional Development Coordinator for GLSEN of Northwest Ohio. I am excited to work with the community and all stakeholders towards better neighborhoods and to improve the quality of life throughout our district. During this unprecedented time in history, I ask you to stay healthy and to stay safe. If I can assist in any way, please feel free to reach out to me at 419-245-1050.

I am Chair of Health Promotion & Access Committee, Vice Chair of the Neighborhoods & Community Development Committee, and a member of the Education, Recreation & Employment Committee, the Finance, Debt & Budget Oversight Committee, the, Streets, Public Service and Utilities Committee, and the Water Quality & Sustainability Committee and the Zoning & Planning Committee.
