Rogers High School Girls Basketball Championship Parade

The Rogers High School girls’ basketball team made history when it won the Ohio Division II state championship last month. The team will be honored with a parade downtown beginning at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 21.

The parade will stage on Jefferson Street between Summit and Huron streets. It will proceed north on North St. Clair Street to Jackson Street. It will turn right (east) on Jackson to Summit. It will turn right (south) on Summit. The parade will conclude with a 30-minute rally in Promenade Park during which Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz will present the team with the key to the city.

Dodge Rams will be used to drive the team in the parade and Cat Trick from the Toledo Walleye will be part of the fun. Buckeye Broadband is sponsoring the Promenade Park rally, which will include speakers and a team highlight video on the ProMedica screen facing the park.
