Notice of Public Meeting and Comment Period

The city of Toledo and the Dental Center of Northwest Ohio are conducting a public meeting and accepting public comments on the removal of hazardous materials from 2100-2144 Madison Avenue, Toledo, Ohio (Dental Center of Northwest Ohio Facility).

The Dental Center of Northwest Ohio is announcing plans to remediate asbestos and other hazardous materials within the structures of the Dental Center of Northwest Ohio property with support from a U.S. EPA Brownfield Cleanup Revolving Loan from the City of Toledo. The remediation is necessary to allow for the demolition of the buildings in a manner which protects public health and the environment in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

The public is invited to attend a public meeting to provide information about the remediation action.

The public meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Main Toledo-Lucas County Public Library, 325 Michigan Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43604 from 6:00-6:30 p.m.

The Meeting will be a formal open house format allowing the public to stop by anytime between 6:00-6:30 pm. Dental Center representatives, City of Toledo representatives and an environmental consultant will answer questions. Public comments can be made in writing and submitted by mail through July 20, 2018 to:
