Public Safety Personnel Partner with Students to Train for an Active Threat

Toledo Early College students will practice the principles of ALICE with UTPD conducting immediate emergency response. TPD and TFRD personnel will then respond using combined Rescue Task Force training.

• WHO: Toledo Police Department, Toledo Fire and Rescue Department, University of Toledo Police Department, and Toledo Public Schools
• WHAT: Toledo Police are partnering with the Toledo Fire and Rescue Department, University of Toledo Police, Toledo Public Schools Department of Public Safety, and Toledo Early College to conduct an enhanced training drill focusing on active threat response.
• WHEN: Monday, September 17th at 1:00 p.m. *Exercise begins at 1:15 p.m. with debrief following at 2:00 p.m.
