Wednesday, February 27, 2019

The city of Toledo will hold a public meeting on the Downtown Toledo Transportation Plan, 5:30 to 7 p.m., today, Wednesday, Feb. 27 at the SeaGate Convention Centre, Room 104. It is the second of three public meetings.

The Kapszukiewicz administration is seeking public input on the plan, which will take a comprehensive look at the transportation elements downtown and how to enhance economic development and residential space. The plan will examine motor vehicle traffic, pedestrian traffic, public transit, and biking. Mannik & Smith Group Inc. was awarded a contract to evaluate the existing traffic flow and future proposed traffic patterns while accounting for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users to enhance the development potential downtown.
