2024 Clean Toledo Recycling Events Schedule
The City of Toledo announces the 2024 schedule of Clean Toledo Recycling Events, which help keep neighborhoods clean by offering free refuse and recycling drop-off events for Toledo residents.
Acceptable items include electronic waste (including TVs and CRT TVs and monitors); up to 10 tires, on or off the rim, but no commercial tires; document shredding and recycling; bulky items, cardboard, and refuse. Styrofoam will be accepted at all events. This year air conditioning units, refrigerators/freezers, and large appliances will be accepted. Latex paint, oil-based paint, and stains are accepted free of charge.
Used medical equipment will be accepted through a partnership with the Ability Center at the Toledo Zoo (April 20), Epworth United Methodist Church (August 24), and Ottawa Park (October 5) events.
All drop-off events will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at designated locations. The events will have visibly marked lanes for traffic flow, as well as identifiable volunteers who will direct participants. More information can be found at toledo.oh.gov/cleantoledo.

- April 20 at Party for the Planet at the Toledo Zoo, 2 Hippo Way
- May 4 at Swayne Field Shopping Center, 3000 Monroe St.
- May 18 at Detwiler Park, 4001 North Summit St.
- June 1 at Toledo Technology Academy, 3301 Upton Ave.
- June 15 at Rogers High School, 222 McTigue Dr.
- June 29 at Start High School, 2010 Tremainsville Rd.
- July 13 at Waite High School, 301 Morrison Dr.
- July 27 at Whitmer High School, 5601 Clegg Dr.
- August 10 at Manhattan Plaza, 553 E Manhattan Blvd.
- August 24 at Epworth United Methodist Church, 4855 W Central Ave.
- September 7 at Oakdale Elementary, 1620 E Broadway St.
- September 21 at Cedar Creek Church, 2150 S Byrne Rd.
- October 5 at Ottawa Park, 2205 Kenwood Blvd.
