NEW! Block-by-Block Blight Pick-up
After a successful pilot in 2023, Toledo will run a Block-by-Block program to help combat blight in 2024. Crews from the Division of Urban Beautification will canvass select neighborhoods to collect bulk trash from residents' curbs for free. Residents may place furniture, mattressess, tvs, computers, scrap wood, and yard waste at the curb for the blight team to remove. Residents cannot leave household hazardous waste at the curb, but are encouraged to bring those items to a Clean Toledo Recycling Event where those materials can be safely disposed.
A map of the neighborhood boundaries and a list of ineligible household hazardous waste can be found at toledo.oh.gov/block-by-block.
