Cooling Centers Available During Heat Advisory

The National Weather Service has extended the Heat Advisory for Lucas County to Friday, July 3. Due to the Fourth of July holiday, many cooling center locations will be closed. The list of cooling centers has been updated to reflect locations that will be open on Friday, July 3.

TARTA's regular fixed route service can get passengers to many of the cooling centers listed. Residents needing transportation assistance should call 211.

Please note that cooling center locations only allow documented service animals. However, all Metroparks have dog watering stations and shady spots for residents and their pets to keep cool.

Toledo

Friendship Park Senior Center
