A Summer Job That Can Grow into a Career.
This isn't just a summer job. It's an opportunity to learn real-world skills, work outdoors, and earn while you learn. If you're a high school student living in a designated area, this Workforce Training Program from RE-TREE Toledo could be your chance to work 25 hours a week and gain hands-on experience that could lead to a future in urban forestry or arboriculture.
Students must reside in one of the designated census tracts, and alumni meeting job requirements will receive priority for seasonal forestry postitions ($15-18/hr) after high school.
- Earn money while learning from industry experts
- Get valuable training in tool use, safety and urban forestry fundamentals
- Work outside at Forest Cemetery (a certified Level II arborteum) and various field sites
