Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
CDBG program investments provide federal funding to address community needs and support projects that strengthen Toledo's neighborhoods, improve housing and public facilities, provide essential services, and create economic opportunities.
Organizations interested in applying for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding must register for the upcoming CDBG workshops.
CDBG Workshop Schedule
- Monday, November 2: Grant Writing & AI, 10 a.m.–noon*
- Monday, November 9: Application & Guide, 10 a.m.–noon
- Wednesday, December 2: Budget, 1–3 p.m.
- Wednesday, December 9: Attachments, 1–3 p.m.
Attendance Requirements
* November 2 workshop: Required for all organizations.
CDBG Funding Eligibility Requirement
New applicants or organizations that have never received CDBG funding must:
- Be registered for or have participated in a Toledo Neighborhood Capacity Building Institute (TNCBI) cohort
- Attend all four CDBG workshops
