Rights and Responsibilities
Under the law, a tenant has certain rights and responsibilities. Tenants are bound by lease agreements and laws which govern rental of residential property.
The Toledo-Lucas County Emergency Rental Assistance Program will assist eligible households with up to 12 months of rent payments. Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.Learn more
Our water department contracts for services only with property owners verified by the Lucas County Auditor’s Office. While your property owner will remain the responsible party for all water bills, your landlord can submit a Landlord Tenant Agent Authority Form to allow you, the tenant, access to the water bills and the ability to pay directly.
