Crews will begin work in your neighborhood the week of September 22, likely Thursday or Friday. This project has several parts, and crews are beginning with replacing the waterline on Wylie Ave. After the new waterline has been installed, we will begin the road work on Wylie Ave, Toledo Ave, and Cummings Ave.

What to Expect

The road work portion of this project is a reclamation. The road will be recycled in place with new layers of asphalt paved on top of the recycled existing road. We will not be replacing the curbs or driveway approaches, but we will make any necessary pedestrian ramp repairs or replacements. The reclamation work will begin the second week of October.

The City has contracted with Ebony Construction to complete this work. You will see their crews and sub-contracted crews throughout the duration of the construction.

Construction hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. We ask that you remove any vehicles parked on the street during these times. If you have a sprinkler system, please mark the sprinkler heads to prevent any damage.
