The Collins Park Water Treatment plant has undergone a comprehensive modernization to improve reliability, strengthen water treatment, and prepare the region's drinking water for the future.
This investment upgraded nearly every major part of the treatment process while allowing the plant to remain in operation and continue serving Toledo and surrounding communities.

Modernizing the Treatment Process
The modernization was completed through more than twenty coordinated construction projects across the Collins Park campus. Together, these projects renewed aging infrastructure, introduced modern treatment technologies, and upgraded the systems that treat, monitor, and deliver drinking water throughout the region.
