At Environmental Services, we fight for a higher quality of life for all citizens through balanced, responsible environmental protection, ensuring safe air and water for the Toledo Metropolitan Area. Our primary objective is to increase citizen safety with regards to environmental threats, committing this division to the role of environmental leadership in many capacities. Environmental Services takes pride in serving as an environmental consultant for other local, regional, state and federal departments and divisions.

Through community outreach programs, we are able to promote a better understanding and awareness of the existing challenges to air and water quality in the Toledo Metro Area. We also perform, coordinate, and oversee Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments for city owned parcels and Brownfield redevelopment projects.
