Certificate of Qualification for Employment

CQE is short for Certificate of Qualification for Employment. It is part of an Ohio law that helps people with criminal records obtain employment. The CQE allows persons living in the community who have a previous felony or misdemeanor conviction to apply to the court to lift the collateral sanction that bars them from being considered for employment in a particular field.

Financial Opportunity Center (FOC)

Pathway partners with the Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC) and Premiere Bank to operate as a Financial Opportunity Center. FOCs are career and financial coaching service centers that help families living on a low-to-moderate income build effective money habits and focus on the financial bottom line.

Volunteers of America

Residential Reentry Program

Our programs serve formerly incarcerated individuals, some of whom are eligible for early release from prison due to judicial release, and/or have substance abuse issues in the Cincinnati, Dayton, Evansville, Indianapolis, Mansfield, and Toledo areas. Case managers and residents create an individualized program plan to address their specific needs. Client progress is routinely assessed to ensure a positive outcome by the end of the program.
