The Clerk of Council is charged with maintaining the historical records of the actions of City Council. This includes:
- Developing and publishing meeting notices and the agendas of City Council & committee meetings.
- Keeping and publishing the Minutes of Council meetings and committee meetings.
- Publishing the Toledo City Journal, on a weekly basis, which documents the Proceedings of council meetings, the language of all enacted legislation as well as notices of bids for goods and services.
