Next Engage Toledo Ambassador Academy Begins Sept. 17

Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz today announced details of the next Engage Toledo Ambassador Academy. The initiative was first launched in 2017 to inspire civic engagement and participation.

The next Engage Toledo Ambassador Academy will start on Sept. 17, with a graduation ceremony on Nov. 12, 2019.

There will be seven classes scheduled, and participants who complete six of the seven classes will graduate and be designated “Engage Toledo Ambassadors.” All classes will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays. The locations may vary according to subject matter. Classroom size is limited, and participants must be a Toledo resident and at least eighteen years old to attend. Accepted applications are on a first come, first served basis; however, exceptions may be made in order to ensure broad representation across the city. Applications will be received through Sept. 4.
