Notice of Funding Available
The City of Toledo Department of Housing and Community Development announces the availability of approximately $16,000,000 million of American Rescue Plan Act, Home Investment Partnerships Program, and HOME American Rescue Plan funds to support acquisition, new construction or rehabilitation of affordable rental housing, permanent supportive housing, and non-congregate shelter projects.
Funds will be awarded to eligible projects located in Qualified Census Tracts and City of Toledo Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Areas (NRSAs) that demonstrate a gap in financing, address the City of Toledo’s affordable and special populations housing needs, and significantly leverage federal funds with other funding sources.
“This combination of dollars invested in our city to address housing needs is a critical component of the Toledo Recovery Plan,” Mayor Kapszukiewicz said. “I strongly encourage applicants to participate in this process and help us bring this once in a generation investment to our neighborhoods.”
Applications must be submitted online via the Zoom Grants platform. No paper or emailed applications will be accepted. Deadline to submit applications is January 25, 2022 at 4:45 p.m. The complete Notice of Funding Availability provides additional information including qualified census tracts, proposal submittal requirements and evaluation criteria.
