Hazardous Materials Incident at 253 Waggoner Blvd.

The hazmat incident is over. Police will be reopening the areas and shelter in place is being lifted.

Toledo Fire and Rescue Department is on scene at a hazmat incident at Sofo Foods located at 253 Waggoner Blvd.
As a precautionary measure, a shelter-in-place order has been established for a one-mile radius surrounding the facility. Residents and businesses within this area are advised to remain indoors until further notice.
For public safety, road closures are in effect. Please avoid the area and use alternate routes.
Emergency personnel are on scene managing the incident and Hazmat crews doing recon. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
