Toledo leaders will highlight the city’s commitment to inclusivity at 9 a.m., Wednesday, June 12 in front of One Government Center by raising the Pride Flag in honor of LGBTQ+ Pride Month. The flag will fly in front of One Government Center in place of the city flag through the end of June.

“The city of Toledo is supporting and celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride Month,” Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz said. “This is just a small way we show our commitment to LGBTQ+ issues and building a community where everyone feels included and valued.”

Toledo Council Member Nick Komives donated the Pride Flag that will fly in place of the Toledo flag. The city flag will be returned to the flagpole on July 1.
