Toledo’s Day In The Sun Professional Boxing Night Weigh-In

The weigh-in of professional boxers fighting for the Toledo’s Day In The Sun Professional Boxing Night will occur at 5 p.m., Friday, July 5 on the H Lounge Stage at Hollywood Casino Toledo, 1968 Miami St.

Ohio Boxing Commission Inspector Robert Martin will preside over the required weigh-ins. Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz will speak before the weigh-in. The media is invited to attend and must enter through the Team Member Entrance at Hollywood Casino, which is on the north side of the building.

Video footage and photographs of the gaming floor is not permitted. Must be 21 and over to enter the casino.

Six bouts will begin at 7 p.m., Saturday, July 6, at the Seagate Convention Center. The event is the final activity to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the historic Jess Willard vs. Jack Dempsey fight that took place on July 4, 1919.
