Water Main Break near Riverside Elementary

Three pumps remain at the intersections of Galena and Chase. All other streets were relieved of standing water.

Residents have access to running water.

The boil advisory for the area is in effect until tomorrow at 4 p.m.

We are continuing to monitor the situation.

The water has been turned off to the lines and the water is receding. We will have an update on the repair timeline around 4:00 p.m. today.

The boil advisory for the area is in effect for the next 48 hours.

There has been a significant water main break near Riverside Elementary at the intersection of Chicago and Chase. The intersection of Galena and Summit has also been affected. Due to the nearby water main break, Riverside Elementary is closed today.

Toledo Police and the Department of Public Utilities are on the scene and will provide further updates as we know more.

Please steer clear of the area.
