John Hobbs III

Councilman, District 1

Councilman John Hobbs III was elected as the District 1 City Council Member in November 2023. He serves as Chair of the Public Safety & Criminal Justice Reform Committee and Vice Chair of the Transportation Committee. Councilman Hobbs III is also a member of the Economic Development & Innovation Committee, the Finance, Debt & Budget Oversight Committee, and the Zoning & Planning Committee. Outside of Council Committees, Councilman Hobbs serves as a member of the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC). Learn more about CJCC here.
