Water Tower at Holland-Sylvania Rd.

Construction Begins Spring 2026

The City has contracted with Kokosing to complete the water tower construction. Crews will begin construction in spring 2026.

The City of Toledo plans to construct a new water tower at Holland-Sylvania Rd. beginning in 2026. This project is part of a broader effort to improve water pressure, increasy system reliability, and transition the city's water distribution into two pressure zones.

Location

The water tower will be located near the intersection of Holland-Sylvania Rd. and Sylvania Ave.

Tower Design

The project includes one elevated water storage tank.

Capacity: 2 million gallons
Height: approximately 135 feet
Diameter: approximately 50 feet

Construction

Construction is expected to take place between 2026 and 2028.

Construction hours are typically 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The City and contractors will work to minimize ipacts to the surrounding area as much as possible.
