What to Expect
This project is an extensive one, as we are improving an unimproved road. Until late 2023, the City of Toledo Charter prevented us from doing this kind of work. On Paisley Dr. we will be replacing the waterline, adding storm drainage, sidewalks on the north side of the street, and it will be a reconstruction from 260 ft. west of Eileen Rd. to Sandringham Dr.
For the reconstruction portion of the project, we will remove and replace the existing road. Later, we will adjust the manhole covers andcatch basins. Then you will have a fresh street!Once the roadwork is complete, we will seed your lawn and plant newtrees. You will need to water the grass seed and tree to ensure thatthey grow.
The City has contracted with B & J Concrete to complete this work. You will see their crews and sub-contracted crews throughout the duration of the construction.
Construction hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. We ask that you remove any vehicles parked on the street during these times.
Bandore Park Stream Restoration & Storm Drainage
The City is also working on a stream restoration project in Hill Ditch through Bandore Park. This restoration project reduces the erosion of stream banks and increases the capacity for stormwater runoff.
