Juneteenth is a day of celebrations and reflections that recognize the 19th of June as the day of emancipation of enslaved people in Texas. It is also a time for reflection, rejoicing, assessment, self-improvement, and planning the future.

Celebrate Juneteenth at the Toledo Museum of Art with a day of reflection, creativity, and community. Through art making, music, movement, and storytelling, we honor Black history and freedom while looking toward a more connected future.
The Family Center is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and requires a separate registration.

Toledo's Juneteenth Celebration
Free cultural heritage festival with live entertainment, local vendors, food trucks, activities and games.

Coming To America
"Coming to America" is a theme that explores the diverse experiences, challenges, and cultural influences that shape the immigrant journey.
Where: Maumee Theater, 601 Conant St.
When: Friday June 20th, doors open at 3, show starts at 3:30 p.m.
Cost: Adults: $24 kids: $12
Boxing Show
Let's come together to stand up against youth violence, and work towards creating a safer and more peaceful community for all.
Where: 2345 Collingwood Blvd.
When: Saturday June 21st, 1 - 7 p.m.
Cost: $40 at the door
Juneteenth Brunch
Day party with a purpose. Honoring the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. 2025 scholarship recipients. There will be a silent auction and live entertainment by the Distant Cousinz. Afrocentric attire is encouraged.
When: Saturday, June 21st, doors open at 11 a.m.
