Crews will be removing trees to prepare for the reconstruction work as early as Thursday, March 13. Don’t worry, we will replace those trees soon.

What to Expect

This project is a reconstruction and will include minor storm sewer improvements, a water main replacement, a sanitary sewer main replacement, and we will replace the drive approaches. We will also be repairing the sidewalks.

Once the roadwork is complete, we will seed the lawn and replace the trees. Residents will need to water the grass seed and trees to ensure that they grow.

The City has contracted with Geddis Paving and Excavating, Inc. to complete this work.

Update May 13: Due to an unanticipated conflict with a gas line, Geddis Paving and Excavating is pulling from the site so that Columbia Gas can complete their work. It is unclear how long this work will take. At this time, we do anticipate that the reconstruction on 113th will be complete by the end of the 2025 construction season.
