Public Education Programs

Toledo Fire and Rescue Department offers a wide range of free fire safety education programs to schools, civic organizations, businesses, and healthcare facilities.

Programs include:

  • Fire apparatus demonstrations
  • Community event participation

  • Business and Healthcare workplace fire safety training

S.A.F.E. – Senior Advocates for Fire Education

The S.A.F.E. program, launched in partnership with the American Red Cross and the Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio, trains senior citizen volunteers to help promote fire safety across our community
