Happening Now

We will begin construction on Jervis St. the week of May 19. Crews will be on your street as early as Thursday, May 15.

What to Expect

This project is a full reconstruction. Crews will remove and replace the road including the curb and your driveway approach, and repair the sidewalks as needed. We are also replacing 600 ft. of watermain. After the final pavement has been placed, we will return to make adjustments to the manhole castings.

For the waterline work, we will be replacing the line between the water shut-off and the new watermain. A natural part of this process is that any lead lines between the shutoff at the street and the watermain will be removed and replaced.

While they are there, they are able to identify if you have a lead line on your side of the connection (from the shut off at the street to your meter). If you have a lead waterline on your side, the City of Toledo will send our contractor Hank’s Plumbing and Heating to replace that piece at no cost to you.

Once the roadwork is complete, we will seed your lawn and replace the trees. You will need to water the grass seed and tree to ensure that they grow.

The City has contracted with
E.R. Zeiler to complete this work. You will see their crews and sub-contracted crews throughout the duration of the construction.

Construction hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We ask that you remove any vehicles parked on the street during these times.
