Mayor Kapszukiewicz Releases Statement on Today's Regional Water Meeting

Friday, May 25, 2018

“The city of Toledo and its suburban partners have been working for some time on possible approaches for regional water. We have presented a number of plans so far, none of which have satisfied all parties.

Any effort of this magnitude is going to be challenging and elicit differences of opinions. We expect to work through these challenges and differences of opinions.

We had some positive reaction today to a new proposal put forward during a meeting with our fellow suburban leaders, but we also heard expressions of concern.

Sylvania Mayor Craig Stough put forth a new proposal that we will give appropriate consideration and we look forward to meeting with our suburban neighbors on this challenging issue during the coming weeks.”
