Solheim Cup Flag Raising, Committee Hearing

Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz, members of Toledo City Council, and representatives from Solheim Cup will raise the Solheim Cup Flag at 10:15 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 18 in front of One Government Center to celebrate the upcoming golf event that will bring the best women golfers from the United States and Europe to compete at Inverness Club over Labor Day weekend. The flag will fly in front of the building through the end of the tournament on Sept. 6.

Toledo City Council’s Committee of the Whole will hold a hearing beginning at 10:30 a.m. to review the City of Toledo’s plan to prepare for the event and to receive updates from event organizers.
