Happening Now

We will begin construction on Eastern Ave. the first week of June. Crews will be on your street as early as Thursday, May 15 to prepare for the waterline replacement on Jervis St.

What to Expect

This project is a full reconstruction. Crews will remove and replace the road including the curb and your driveway approach, and repair the sidewalks as needed. After the final pavement has been placed, we will return to make adjustments to the manhole castings.

While they are there, crews are able to identify if you have a lead line on your side of the connection (from the shut off at the street to your meter). If you have a lead waterline on your side, the City of Toledo will send our contractor Hank’s Plumbing and Heating to replace that piece at no cost to you.

Once the roadwork is complete, we will seed your lawn and replace the trees. You will need to water the grass seed and tree to ensure that they grow.

The City has contracted with
E.R. Zeiler to complete this work. You will see their crews and sub-contracted crews throughout the duration of the construction.

Construction hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We ask that you remove any vehicles parked on the street during these times.
