Each year there are a limited number of vouchers available on a first come, first served basis to help candidates pay for the FireTEAM and Firefighter Mile tests.

To get a voucher candidates must:

1. Live in Ohio or Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, Monroe, Washaenaw, and Wayne counties in Michigan.
2. Show proof of residency with one of the following documents:
   1. Driver's License
   2. Lease Agreement
   3. Utility Bill
   4. W-2
   5. Pay Stub
3. Email documentation to silvia.fofrich@toledo.oh.gov with the subject line "Voucher for FireTEAM" or "Voucher for Firefighter Mile". A voucher for the Firefighter Mile will only be issued after the candidate has passed the FireTEAM test.
