Huron Street and Madison Avenue Corridor Study

Thursday, March 21, 2024

On March 12, Toledo's Director of Economic Development Brandon Sehlhorst welcomed 60 residents and stakeholders to an open-house style planning meeting for the streetscape infrastructure developing at Huron Street and Madison Avenue downtown.

Residents were invited to imagine the streetscape as a safe, connected, and pedestrian friendly area. The impacted area begins at the "Four Corners," then expands Madison Avenue to the Toledo Lucas County Main Branch Library and Huron Street to the Erie Street Market.

There will be a follow-up open-house meeting in June 2024 before the city finalizes their plans on this exciting and transformative project which promises to redefine our downtown experience.
