We recently completed the paving work on this street, but our quality control inspection showed that the asphalt did not meet the City's standards. This was a problem with the asphalt mixture itself, not in the way it was applied. To ensure the roadway lasts as intended, we will remove and replace the asphalt with no additional cost to the initial residential roads construction budget.What to Expect
This project is a full reconstruction. After the trees have been
removed, we will remove and replace the existing road. This project
also includes minor storm sewer improvements. We will replace
the curb and driveway approaches, and we are adding
sidewalks on the south side of the street.
Once the roadwork is complete, we will seed the lawns and replace the trees. Residents will need to water the grass seed and tree to ensure that they grow.
The City has contracted with Crestline Paving & Excavating, Inc. to
complete this work.
