Launch of Toledo Neighborhood Capacity Building Institute

Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz, Toledo City Council Members, Neighborhoods Director Rosalyn Clemens, Neighborhood Navigator Monica Smith and Reinvest Toledo’s Amelia Gibbon will join the 2021 Cohort of the Toledo Neighborhood Capacity Building Institute (TNCBI) for a kick-off event on Monday, October 18, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. in Toledo City Council Chambers.

The TNCBI is designed to build organization and community capacity in strategic areas necessary for effective neighborhood revitalization and sustainability.

The year-long institute will meet a minimum of once a month for interactive sessions facilitated by The Barthwell Group. Sessions will cover topics such as board governance, grant writing, building collaborative partnerships/networks, succession planning, and programming and services.
