Lewis Avenue Roadway Reconstruction Public Meeting Held

City of Toledo Engineering Services is currently in the design phase to reconstruct 1.0-mile of pavement on Lewis Avenue from Laskey Road to Alexis Road.

This includes the removal and replacement of pavement, installing new curbs, installation of new gutters, modification of drive approaches, and various drainage improvements. The project is planned to begin in Spring 2023 and end approximately November 2023.

During construction, Lewis Ave will be limited to one-way traffic. Access to all properties will be maintained throughout construction.

Nearby property owners and occupants were invited to attend an online public meeting to learn more about the project and give feed back on the effect of the project on local residents, air quality, the local economy, floodplains, and historic or cultural resources.
