Cullen Park and Parking Lot Closed for Dead Tree Removal

The City of Toledo will be removing 18 dead trees and debris from Cullen Park in Point Place beginning Monday, January 31. The work will take place intermittently throughout the week.
As a result, Cullen Park and the parking lot at Cullen Park, will be closed to residents during this time. Department of Public Service will post street closure signs and other directional signs while the work is being completed.
Please steer clear of the area when posted.
The best time to remove trees in this setting is when we have freezing temperatures. This will allow heavy equipment to be on the grass without causing permanent damage.
The City of Toledo will assess the replacement of the trees this Spring.
